The Celtics loss to the Lakers last night 79 to 83 in a great game the Celtics led by as many as 13 points against the Lakers  but lost Game 7. Boston had blown 14 double-digit leads during the regular season. This was the first time they did that in the playoffs and it came at the wrong time.

The Celtics had never lost a seventh game in the Finals. The teams have met in 12 NBA Finals, but the Lakers won for just the third time.

Boston still leads with 17 NBA titles overall but Lakers just  moved one championship behind so hold your head high Boston Celtic fans your team is still the Best NBA team of all time for at least another year.
